Shikishima Farm operates one of Japan’s largest integrated production farms, specializing in raising
approximately 10,000 Japanese Black (Kuroge Wagyu) cattle across its locations in Shiraoi, Hokkaido and Nasu, Tochigi. Blessed with pure water and abundant nature, they are committed to nurturing cattle from birth to shipment entirely within their own farms under the philosophy of “Born and Raised in Shikishima.”
By providing a stress-free environment and managing the care of each animal with meticulous attention, they ensure the consistent delivery of safe, high-quality Wagyu beef. They also focus on cultivating future generations of healthy, strong mother cows to further enhance the herd’s excellence.
The flagship brand, “Shikishima Beef,” is raised exclusively at their farms, which are certified under HACCP and JGAP standards. “Nasu Highlands Shikishima Wagyu,” meanwhile, is a premium brand raised in the pristine environment of the Nasu Highlands in Tochigi Prefecture. Through sustainable farming practices and close collaboration with local farmers, they are dedicated to bringing exceptional Wagyu to customers across Japan.
